Don’t just use the library; be a part of it. The Friends of the Anderson County Library is a nonprofit organization that supports the growth, development, and greatest possible use of the Library. Membership is open to everyone.

Love books and supporting the library? Try volunteering! Friends of the Library volunteers organize and run the Friends Bookstore located at the Anderson Main Library as well as process donations. Volunteers must be 18 years old. Download an application or ask at the Reference Desk or the Friends Book Store at Main Library. Return applications to the Administration Office at Main Library or via email.
Friends Used Bookstore and Gift Shop
Located at the Main Library, all proceeds from the Bookstore support the Friends of the Anderson County Library. The Book Store offers gently used books, movies and magazines as well as postcards, bookmarks, totes, and gifts, with rotating special sales every month.

Friends Pop-Up Retail Space
New at the Anderson Main Library, local small business owners can now rent a short-term retail space to help grow their business while benefitting the Friends of the Library. If you have a home or small business and would like to try having a storefront, you can rent this space! To apply, fill out the application and return it to the Administration office at the Anderson Main Library or email it to email@example.com.
