Don’t just use the library; be a part of it. The Friends of the Anderson County Library is a nonprofit organization that supports the Anderson County Library System to help promote the growth, development, and greatest possible use of this institution. Membership is open to everyone.

Your membership dues at any level are vital to our organization and to our library in helping to provide financial support for programs and materials that benefit patrons of all ages.  Download the Friends of the Library brochure and membership application.

Volunteer

Love books and supporting the library? Try volunteering! Friends of the Library volunteers organize and run the Friends Bookstore located at the Anderson Main Library as well as process donations. Volunteers must be 18 years old. Download an application or ask at the Reference Desk or the Friends Book Store at Main Library. Return applications to the Administration Office at Main Library or via email.

Friends of the Anderson County Library Bookstore

Located at the Main Library, all proceeds from the Bookstore support the Friends of the Anderson County Library. The Book Store offers gently used books, magazines, and other materials, with rotating special sales every month.

Friday

Saturday and Sunday
