Book Club Services

Are you in a book club or interested in starting one? There are two ways the Anderson County Library can help.

  1. Books on Call – our time-saving service. Choose from any books in our catalog. We will request these books from the SCLends consortium of libraries and call you when all books arrive. These books must have been published at least 6 months ago. This service usually takes 5-7 business days. When the titles come in, they can be picked up at the Main Library using the requestor’s library card.

2. Book Club in a Bag – our original service. Choose from a selection of available titles and request the title by emailing adultprograms@andersonlibrary.org. Each bag comes with 6-8 copies of the book, discussion questions, a brief author biography, a list of additional works by the author and a quick guide to starting your own book club. Find the list of available titles here.

For more information or help making your selections, call (864) 260-4500 x108 or email adultprograms@andersonlibrary.org.
