Marketing and Communications Manager – Anderson Main Library
We are re-imagining how people experience the library and are looking for a motivated and creative professional to join our leadership team as our Marketing and Communications Manager. You’ll be helping to make a difference in our community by leading our communications initiatives across our nine locations throughout Anderson County.
In this role, you’ll be directing our Library System’s publicity efforts, developing digital and traditional media campaigns, and aligning our community outreach efforts. You will be responsible for the development, implementation, and coordination of strategic marketing plans and effective community relations to broaden awareness and library use across Anderson County.

Education and Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in marketing, communications, public relations or a related field with a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a marketing, public relations or related position.
- A minimum of one (1) year at a supervisory level.
- Proven experience creating and editing promotional pieces.
- Experience in project coordination.
- Library or public institution experience preferred.
- Experience working with volunteers preferred.
- Other combinations of experience and training that meet the minimum requirements.
Salary Range:
$ 46,000-$51,000 (annual) + benefits
