Whether you're in the mood for a novel, a kids’ favorite, or something for your next movie night, our machine is stocked with a great assortment of titles for all ages.

Our vending machine is located inside the Food Lion store at 4403 SC-24, Anderson
How it works:
- Bring your library card - You’ll need it to check out materials. Don't have your library card? Get one here!
- Scan your library card - Using the vending machine's built-in scanner.
- Browse the selection - Titles rotate regularly, so check back often!
- Choose your materials - Use the touchscreen to enter the vending machine location to check out your selection. Multiple items can be borrowed at a time - just like in the library.
- Get your materials - Your selections will drop in the retrieval bin, simply push the flap and grab your items.
- And your receipt - Your receipt will print from the vending machine. Grab it and you're on your way!
- Return to the book drop - A book drop is conveniently located to the right of the vending machine.
- Repeat! - Enjoy your next read.

There is a Book Drop located inside the Food Lion near the vending machine for easy material returns - but library materials can also be returned at any branch location!
Books checkout for 3 weeks and DVDs checkout for 1 week.
Yes! Borrow for free, just like any library branch.
The vending machine cannot support holds. You are welcome to request items you would like to see in the machine, but we cannot guarantee access to the item. If you'd like to place a hold on a book or DVD, you can do so online and pick up at your nearest library branch.
