Calling all young chefs! Join the Snack Squad on the first Thursday of every month, and learn how to make healthy choices, try new foods, and become a master of your own kitchen. Each month is a new recipe and a new adventure!

Cover to Cover Book Club meets the first Thursday of each month at 6 p.m. at the Powdersville Library. We will have hot tea and light snacks to share! This month we will discuss All That Life Can Afford by Emily Everett. 

Children ages 6-12 can practice building reading skills and confidence by reading a book of their choice to a registered therapy dog from SC Dog Therapy Group.

Bunco is a dice game where players take turns rolling three dice in an attempt to score points and have the highest score at the end of six rounds. The game can be played with 12 or more players, divided into groups of four.

Join entomologist Mike Farro at the library to learn how to identify insects in the field and discover the critical roles that these creatures play in our ecosystem.

Examine Sanborn Fire Insurance maps, census enumeration district maps, and other historic maps and learn how to use them for family history research.
