Sonic Lunch is a lunchtime concert series where you can bring your lunch and enjoy 45 minutes of great music in a variety of styles and genres performed by Greater Anderson Musical Arts Consortium (GAMAC) artists for FREE.

Sonic Lunch is presented monthly on select Wednesdays at the Anderson County Library. No registration required.

Joining us on September 10th is Absinthe Minded (Facebook, Instagram). Absinthe Minded specializes in performing speakeasy music from the Prohibition era through the 1930s. They are known for their toe-tapping, old-school sound and feature a variety of instruments, including bass saxophone, clarinet, banjo, trombone, washboard, and ukulele. Take a break, tap your toes, and let lunchtime swing to a whole new rhythm!

Join us again on the following dates:

October 8 - Tim McManus on accordion!
November 12 - Foothills Saxophone Quartet
December 10 - TBA

Sponsored by the Friends of the Anderson County Library and by the Gambrill Foundation. GAMAC is funded in part by the South Carolina Arts Commission which receives funding from the National Endowment for the Arts.
