Directions:
From South Murray Avenue: Turn left on Franklin Street (there is a
Little General convenience store on the right at that intersection). You
will come to a 4-way stop sign at the corner of West Franklin and Southwood
streets. Westside is in the fenced lot on the right.
From North Murray Avenue: Turn right on Franklin Street (there is a Little General convenience store on the left at the top of the hill at that intersection). You will come to a 4-way stop sign at the corner of West Franklin and Southwood streets. Westside is in the fenced lot on the right.
Local History:
The Westside branch is located in the Westside
Community Center. The center also houses the AnMed Medical Health Clinic,
Anderson County Health Dept. branch, Anderson Mental Health Center, Communities
in Schools of Anderson County (CIS), Police Assisting Community Enhancement
(PACE), School District Five Adult Education, Tri-County Technical College
Computer Lab, YMCA Preschool Program and Fitness Classes, and Young Men of
Vision and Progress (YMVP).
