Voter Registration

The South Carolina Election Commission is the official site for information on state elections, voter registration, and related operations. For information on voter eligibility and requirements, registering to vote, updating your registration, voting by absentee ballot, and more, visit this page.

The deadline for online voter registration in the 2018 November general elections is October 17.

Health Insurance Marketplace/Affordable Care Act

Open enrollment for 2018 coverage is Nov 1 – Dec 15. Find more information or enroll at or by calling 1-800-318-2596.

Job Assistance

There are two designated computers available with limited assistance to help with job hunting, resumes, and/or unemployment claims at the Main Library. This page contains additional information regarding the SCWorks Worklink offices and other job training services.

Test Proctoring

Test proctoring services are available at:

Clemson University – There is a $40 fee for individuals not affiliated with Clemson. Call (864) 656-6848 or email for details.

Greenville Technical College – There is a $10 fee for non-Greenville Tech students. Call (864) 250-8020 or email for details.

Tri-County Technical College – Assessment Center will proctor exams, free of charge.  Please email them at to request the required forms and set up appointments or call 646-1300 with questions.
