The Reference Desk provides many services to
the public, from answering patron questions about government agencies to
helping children look up information for school projects. Patrons
can stop by and ask a question, call (864)260-4500, or email
reference@andersonlibrary.org for assistance. The Reference
Department has several different sources of information available. To find

Interlibrary Loan is a service provided by
Anderson County Library to its patrons. The service fills requests
by patrons for books, articles from periodicals, master's theses, doctoral
dissertations and other library materials that are not owned by the
Anderson County Library. Patrons may request an item by stopping by
the Circulation or Reference desk, telephoning, faxing, or emailing the
Interlibrary Loan department. To find out more about Interlibrary

The Anderson County Library provides free
computer training to the public. There are several different classes
with varying levels of difficulty. Classes are normally held between
10:00 am and 4:00 pm. To find out more about free computer training

When you receive a borrower’s card at the
library, you also receive a personal identification number, or PIN. This
allows you to access your borrowing record, place holds, change your PIN,
access online databases, or renew materials. To do this, click on
Catalog Search, which allows you access to WebCat, the library’s
on-line public access catalog. Click on User Services and follow the
directions. It’s that easy! To return to the library’s website, just close
out using the X button at the top right of the window.
Anderson County Library has a large and
varied selection of periodicals and newspapers. There are newspapers
from several major cities throughout the United States, South Carolina,
and the Anderson County area. The library also carries over 100
subscriptions to many well known and some not so well known periodicals.

The Foundation Center is an independent
national service organization established by foundations to provide an
authoritative source of information on foundation & corporate giving.
All materials are available for use in the library. You can access
the collection online at the library (not through your home computer) FC

There are several different size meeting rooms available
for public use. There are four conference rooms that seat 8 - 10
persons each and a 250 seat meeting room that can be separated into three
75 seat rooms (Click Here to view the Meeting
