Troubleshooting Access to My Account in the
SCLENDS from Home with Internet Explorer
Verify what version of Internet Explorer you are
running.. Open Internet Explorer, and click on "Help" and go
down and click on "About Internet Explorer".
The window below will appear stating which version of
Internet Explorer you are using.
Now, go to "Tools" on the menu bar, then
"Internet Options."
You will need to clear your current cache of files
under "Browsing history", by clicking on "Delete..." You will need to delete
all "Temporary Internet files", "Cookies", and "History", making sure you
have checked "Preserve Favorites website data" for Internet Explorer 8 users. Then click on
"Delete all..." or "Delete"
For Internet Explorer 7, You will need to
delete all "Temporary Internet files", "Cookies", and "History".
For Internet Explorer 8, You will need to
check all "Temporary Internet files", "Cookies", and "History",
making sure you have checked "Preserve Favorites website data" .
Then click on "Delete"
Reattempt to access our website. Read the
Pop-ups carefully, Internet Explorer 8 asks the questions
differently then Internet Explorer 7. You will want
to display both unsecured and secured webpage content. You may need to
answer this question more than once. If you do not want to have, these
warnings not appear. Follow the directions here:
