Computer Classes


Computer class schedule: January – March 2020.

  • Computer classes are free.
  • Each class meets for one session.
  • Classes meet at the Anderson Main Library Computer Training Lab on the second floor.
  • Registration is required: sign up at the Reference Desk or call (864) 260-4500 x126.

Dive into the internet using Google Chrome or Internet Explorer to perform simple searches and find websites. Learn how to navigate the web and evaluate site content. Get basic online etiquette and Internet safety tips. (Computer Basics now taught with Windows 10 and Microsoft Office 2016)

This class is limited to 12 participants.

Prerequisite – basic mouse and keyboarding skills required.

Review the basic skills of Microsoft Word and learn more about how to format text and clip art. Learn how to use the more advanced Word functions. Create numbered and bulleted lists, use tab stops, and create tables.

Completion of MS Word Basics or permission of the instructor is required to take this class. Limited to 12 students.

Prerequisite – completion of MS Word Basics.
