Total Eclipse at the Library: a Learning Session

Do you know that Anderson is in the direct path of the solar eclipse happening on August 21, 2017? We will have a viewing party at the Main Library, but there are a few things we need to learn first.

Come and learn about eclipses from Dennis Barnes, member of Clemson Area Amateur Astronomers. Dennis will have footage from the complete solar eclipse in 1991, and he will talk about why eclipses happen. Most importantly, Dennis will talk about eclipse viewing safety. This is an all-ages program held at the Main Library. Bring the family and let’s get ready for the eclipse of 2017!
