The Anderson County Library provides books and materials, services and facilities for information, education, culture, individual development, and recreation to the County’s residents, without regard to race, gender, creed, age, or location. It’s dedicated to freedom of access for all, offering a forum for ideas. My staff and I are grateful to the library’s Board of Trustees, Anderson County Council, and County Administrator Joey Preston for their foresight and perseverance in building our new library. It reflects the new century, with high-tech capabilities that enhance the traditional service we’ve established. We’re also grateful to the citizens of Anderson County for their support. If you’ve not visited our new facility yet, please do. If you’re a regular patron, I hope you’ll continue to enjoy the library and its services for many years to come. Sincerely, Carl Stone, Library Director | ||||
