Online Voter Registration

In 2013, South Carolina made online voter registration available for the first time. This will make it much easier for for people to take that first step toward engaging in the electoral process. Click on the link about for more information and to register to vote in South Carolina!

Health Insurance Marketplace/Affordable Care Act

Open enrollment for 2015 is going on until February 15, 2015. However, apply by December 15, 2014 for coverage starting January 1, 2015.  Special qualifying circumstances, Medicaid and CHIP enrollments are always accepted. See healthcare.gov for more information.

Job Assistance

AARP Foundation workers are available to help with job hunting and unemployment claims at the Main Library from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday. This page lists the types of help offered, and links to a flyer listing the WorkLink offices in Anderson, Pickens and Oconee counties.
