The After School Program is designed to foster and enhance the experience of reading. Activities for programs may include stories, games, crafts and occasionally a short video. The After School Program is open to children Grades 1-5Bookw and held in the Ronder Thomas Young Childrens Meeting Room at the Main Library. There is a limit of 25 Children per session. Pre-registration is required. Call 864/260-4500, ext. 158. Weekly topics subject to change. |
| Bookworms is a literacy based program that incorporates science, math, social studies, Oobleck, snakes, disgusting bugs, foreign language studies,cartoons, and Lego blocks and more into a fun filled afternoon that helps children find books they love. This year, we will have the Lego Engineering Club the 4th Tuesday of every month as part of our Bookworms program. |
