The base Per Capita Support for the library is $23.25. Including all other funding sources it is $28.01.

The calculator worksheet has been adapted from Massachusetts Library Association and Chelmsford Public Library. Maine State Library added extra accessibility coding and reformatting for ease of reading online.

This value of library service calculator was created to assist users and libraries understand and communicate their worth. Values are based on national and state averages and were updated in April 2009.
